In his own words:

"Old Ways is the first release from my upcoming beat tape, and I’m sharing the actual Logic session that brought it to life.

I wrote, arranged, mixed, and mastered this track entirely in Logic. Every sound was created using stock instruments and effects - except the guitar and drums. I played live guitar and the drums were rebuilt from a loop by slicing them into a sampler and reprogramming them in MIDI to preserve the original feel. I also recorded the live hi-hat openings and tambourine fills to add that digital-meets-analog texture.
